We had dinner at the lovely
Ariston Café in Litchfield, IL. It was really a great experience. The waitress
brought us their guest book to sign, along with another book about Route 66,
published in German. It seems they have all their guest from out of town sign
it. She also gave us postcards and a
fridge magnet.
The food was great, we shared pork chops and chicken chimichangas, along with the salad bar. The tray of dessert the waitress presented was humungous; we might just have to return someday for dessert alone. Needless to say we had leftovers to cart away. When we finished, our waitress invited us behind the counter for a picture.
