We worshipped with Marble Falls congregation this morning, great lessons
and singing. We then were invited to join the Barnes’ small group, Family First
at the home of John and Bonnie Whittle for a lovely lunch of pulled pork,
Trudy’s amazing pies and Becky’s banana cake.

Say "Cheese" Becky!
A feral hog, ranchers shoot these as they are very destructive, digging up everything.
Only in Texas!
And of course, blue bonnets!
A river of verbena
A carriage house that belonged to some of Becky's ancestors
Joseph Bird is also in Becky's family tree
Actually Joseph Bird was not my ancestor. My grandmother was born there and my grandparents lived there in the early 1900s. The carriage house and hotel (not shown) were built by my dad's widowed grandmother and her son. It was a stage stop.
