This courthouse with its great atrium was really interesting.
A couple of interesting houses in the neighbourhood
Sam and his little froggy friend
We arrived at Clavelia's around 6pm. She and the boys took us out to Las Palmas for fajitas - so delicious! and there was live music too, a gentleman playing guitar. For dessert we went to Mil and Josie's for pan toto, or "dumb bread", a tasty coffee cake Josie made for us. Debbie was visiting from California - it was so nice to meet her. This is the pond on the golf course right next to Clavelia's home.
Debbie, Clavelia, her mom,Josie and dad, Mil. They made Belgian waffles for us for breakfast. Then we all went to Trader's Village, a market about 6 times the size of the St Jacobs' one near Waterloo. Jacob and Sam enjoyed the midway

Josie buys sweet golden mangos
You could buy just about everything at Trader's Village... including the kitchen sink!
We went back to Clavelia's to relax for the afternoon (and try to get a bit caught up on this blog) while Clavelia went to pick up Bella who had stayed over night at a friend's house. At 5:30 we all went back to Mil and Josie's for a BBQ. The whole family was there along with several friends. It was so lovely to meet everyone - you made us feel very welcome. I think I counted 22 including us. I hope I didn't miss anyone. We had a great time eating and visiting and eating. The boys played an epic game of Giant Jenga.
Then we came home to listen to the frog chorus and enjoy the night sky. Bob and the kids where looking up astronomy stuff on the internet.
