Tucumcari Saturday April 10

The Blue Swallow Motel is a famous Route 66 landmark, still in operation and invites inspection by travellers. Notice the garages between the units, and the vintage lawn chairs. I think I remember my parents having chairs like these!

We found a quilt shop, but it wasn’t open.
I took a few pictures through the window as they
had some antique ones on display.

Between Tucumari and Santa Rosa, the Sebring turned over 200,000km
